Intro to Waltz (Phases 1, 2, and 3)

Starting Sunday, October 13, 2024

This class is on Sunday evenings from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM at the War Memorial Building in Balboa Park, San Diego. We will cover all of the Waltz steps in Phases 1, 2, and 3, and a few of the more common steps in phase 4.

We will teach the class presuming no previous dance experience.

This class is on Saturday afternoons from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall in Escondido. We will cover all of the Waltz steps in Phases 1, 2, and 3, and a few of the more common steps in phase 4.

We will teach the class presuming no previous dance experience.

Intermediate Various Rhythms (Phase 3+)

Starting Saturday, June 22, 2024

This class is on Saturday afternoons from 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall in Escondido.We will dance a variety of rhythms including Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Slow Two Step, Two Step, Bolero and Jive. The assumption is that you have some knowledge of these rhythms.

Each week we will work to reinforce prior knowledge and add additional steps, technique and choreography at the intermediate level. We may even teach dances in rhythms you are unfamiliar with such as Quickstep, West Coast Swing and Tango!
